Pryor Creek Golf Course
Pryor Creek Golf Course is an 18 hole municipal golf course on Hwy 69-A approximately 5 miles east of Hwy 69. Dennis Bowman, PGA Professional, has been employed as the City of Pryor's Golf Course Director since 2001.
Son, Blake Bowman, Assistant Pro, is also available for golf lessons.
One of the most affordable golf courses in Mayes County, citizens of Pryor are proud to call this course the home of the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 Pryor Tiger State Golf Champs. Besides being the home of the Pryor Tigers Boys' & Girls' Golf teams, it is the home of many other school teams who utilize the facility for practice and play. Many junior golf tournaments are held annually here from all over the state.
The "Vision Plan" includes building a new Pro Shop and restaurant in a different location and building an additional 9 hole course using a combination of Grant money and possibly a bond issue.
